The template function of the alm module enables users to create templates that can generate preconfigured requests.
This page gives a short introduction how to use the template function for alm-requests.

Create a new Template

New request-templates are created from an already existing request (the state of the request does not matter but the request only contains the base data). To create a new template open a request and click the option menu in the right top corner and select "Create as template". (See screenshot)
The newly opened form is the template-form (with the same values then the request), changes in this template form will not have an impact on the old request. To finalize the request, users have to enter a name for the request in the top textfield and click "Create" at the bottom.
